Bremen is the capital of the German state of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
Bremen is a major port on the banks of the Weser River.

In the Old Town on the Marketplace there are the main attractions: Bremen City Hall and the Bremen Roland.
The government building and the statue of the knight are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Roland’s gaze is drawn to the Bremen Cathedral.
Directly opposite the City Hall is the Schütting, the house of the merchants.
Medieval buildings surround the square.

One of the most unusual streets in Bremen is Böttcherstraße. The street is short but very atmospheric, and consists of only seven brick buildings.
Among them, the most interesting is the Glockenspiel House, with 30 bells playing melodies at certain hours of the day.

The oldest district of Bremen is Schnoor.
Narrow cobbled streets and small houses, art workshops, cozy cafes and souvenir shops create a romantic medieval atmosphere.

The ‘Town Musicians of Bremen’ is a symbol of the city and the final destination of the tourist route ‘German Fairy Tale Road’.
A few steps away from the statue, there is a special donation container in the form of a bronze hatch.
In response to the lowered coin, the voices of the characters of the famous fairy tale of the brothers Grimm sound.
