Dram
The official symbol ‘֏’ of Armenia’s currency is the capital letter ‘Դ’ (da) of the Armenian alphabet crossed by two horizontal lines, which begins the word ‘dram’ (Armenian: դրամ). The dram has been in circulation since November 22, 1993. This day is celebrated as the Armenian Dram Day.
Banknotes

Coins
Coins of the 2003-2004 edition. On the reverse side, there is the coin’s denomination with the inscription “ԴՐԱՄ” (dram) in an ornamental frame, and on the obverse side, there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia with a circular inscription along the edge.
