Groundhog Day

The expression ‘Groundhog Day’ became popular after the release of the film of the same name and denotes a period of life when days resemble each other. And then one day, love bursts into this monotonous life like a whirlwind and turns the familiar world upside down!

Years race ahead in hurried flight,
And we can't slow their rapid might.
Our days we fill with needless fuss,
Blind to truth, in the crowd we trust.
And every new day just like the last,
Filled with trifles, worries vast.
But when in the heart love finds its way,
Oh, how we yearn to relive each day!
For a day with the beloved, a year I'd trade,
And live just that moment, as long as it stayed.
