Dilijan

A small resort town hides in the pristine area of the Armenian Highlands. Dilijan is 100 kilometers away from Yerevan, but how nature changes during the journey! Behind us, Lake Sevan is surrounded by treeless mountains, and ahead, there’s a small tunnel through the mountain. And what a miracle! At the exit from the dark, narrow space, we are already greeted by bright, lush mountain forests!

The winding mountain serpentine road gently brought us down to the town and led us to a historic street. Antique houses with ornate balconies, craft shops, and workshops transport you to the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. The history of the Old Town is carefully preserved on Sharambeyan Street.

The city center is adorned by a Greek-style amphitheater, a white stone obelisk with an observation platform, and a cozy park with an artificial lake.

Dilijan captivates at first sight and opens up a new world!
